So, I took the pinking shears to one of the large artworks I was painting. It required I take a deep breath and just go for it! I am now left with smaller pieces of a larger whole, and the opportunities for something new are endless. I have been playing with different ideas for my art. So far, they have remained in my head, void of action. An artist friend encouraged me to step fully into this process of construction, deconstruction and reconstruction. Sometimes things have to fall apart or be forced apart in order for a grander vision to be formed. It seems I am on the cusp of something new and unknown. How about you? Are you going in new directions these days or have you found a beautiful rhythm in what you are living? Either way, our intuition will lead us as we listen.
